1. How Often Should I Wash My Car?
Car coating has self-cleaning feature, it keeps the car looking cleaner for a longer period of time. But it does not eliminate the need for routine car washing.
A drop of rain contains some amounts of tiny dirt or minerals. As water evaporates from the paint surface, minerals are left behind, resulting in visible spots. If you don’t wash your car regularly, the minerals will etch through the coating and eventually hurt your car coating, causing permanent damage.
In general, you should wash your car once a week, or every two weeks at the very least. Particularly after a few days of rain.

2. Always Use Clean MicroFiber Cloth
While washing or drying a coated car, it is important to avoid any cross contamination that caused by other cleaning materials. Before you use any microfiber towel, wash mitt, or bucket, make sure it is completely clean and free of any other cleaning agents, degreasers, or debris.
3. Always Use a pH Neutral Car Shampoo with No Wax Added
A glass coating, like a paint protection film, it able to block UV rays too. When the coating hardens, it will forms a hydrophobic surface. As a result, fewer contaminants adhere to the surface layer of the coating, making debris like brake dust on the car paint surface easier to remove.
In other words, this also means that there’s no need to clean your car with harsh car shampoo or clay bar. It is highly recommended to use a pH-neutral car shampoo with no added wax only.
This is because the wax will leave some tiny residue on the coating, which will reduce its hydrophobic properties and there will be more debris to stick on your car surface easily, making it become dirtier and damaging your car coating too!
